What we collect
Salon owner and manager account data: name, email, and salon details. Customer booking data collected by salons: name, phone number, and appointment history. This customer data belongs to the salon — keshi processes it on the salon's behalf.
How we use it
We use this data to operate the booking platform, send appointment confirmations and reminders (email via Resend, SMS via Twilio on Pro tier), and, per the section below, for product analytics when a visitor opts in.

keshi uses PostHog for product analytics, both on this public booking site and in the keshi dashboard used by salon owners and managers.
On this public booking site, analytics tracking only starts if you accept the cookie consent banner. If you decline the banner, or simply close it without choosing, no tracking of any kind occurs.
When tracking is enabled, we record product-usage data such as page views and booking funnel steps (for example, viewing the booking page or selecting a time slot). This does not include customer personal information beyond what's required to complete your booking — that information is governed separately by the consent checkboxes shown during the booking flow itself.
Analytics data is processed and stored in PostHog's EU region.
Data retention
Account and booking data is retained for the life of the salon's account, plus a reasonable period after closure for legal and audit purposes. Specific retention windows are a placeholder pending policy finalization.
Customer rights
A salon's customers may request access to or deletion of their personal data by contacting the salon directly, or keshi at contact@trykeshi.com.
SMS opt-out
Customers can reply STOP to any keshi SMS to opt out of future messages. This is honored automatically and immediately by the platform.
